Unite in Prayer
Unite in Prayer -by E.M.Bounds
(1 thessalonians 5:23)
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ
Holiness means wholesome. God wants holy people who are whole-hearted and true, for His service and for the work of praying. These are the sort of people God wants for leaders and these are the kind out of which the praying class is formed.
When a person prays every part of His being unites with God in prayer. Man unites in all the essentials and acts of piety. Soul, spirit, and body must unite in all things pertaining to life and godliness.
Prayer
Dear Lord, I want to be part of your praying people. Make me whole and holy for Your service. - Amen

On Wednesday my mother died. My sister and I were there. We prayed again with our mother. Then she fell asleep peacefully in the arms of my sister. Our pastor arrived a short time later. He spoke again the blessing over our mother. The funeral will be next Friday. I ask for your prayers for our mother and us, in this time of parting.See More
