There is an excellent exhibition at the Natioal Gallery in London of pre fifteenth century altarpieces go and see it if you are in London, it is free and opens up the whole realm of how an altarpiece is made a film about the exhibition and the viewing itself.

See the Photos section for pictures of work by Walbrook Art Group members Janet and Tony Gant. Anyone in London can also see their work in an exhibition in September and during two Open House weekends in October - see Events section for details. Their work and they themselve are very interesting and definitely worth a visit.
I will be posting more work of Walbrook Art Group members soon as we have many artists in the group and I think it's a pity that most of us haven't seen any of their work.
Any members of the London Internet Church Art Group who paint, sculpt, make pottery, whatever, please post photos of your own work as we love to see it.

The exhibition of prints from the St John's Bible is well worth seeing. (see Events section for details of where and when).

The thing I like most about the Art group is the level of writing. It is such a treat to read well-written stuff on the web. No jargon, no shorthand, just plain, logically presented thought.

I fell in love with Caravaggio's Supper at Emmaus during Peter Delaney's Lent Art lectures in 2008. This group has been inspired by the St Stephen Walbrook Art group as it's a vibrant, growing and very interesting community.
I would welcome anyone interested in art to join this group and contribute their thoughts on any aspect of God-given creativity.

Psalm 118    1    O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever. 2    Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 3    Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 4    Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 5    I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.…See More
