Reproduction of Sistine Chapel Ceiling
There is a full-scale reproduction of Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel Ceiling in English Martyrs' Church, Goring, Worthing Sussex.
A deacon of the church, Gary Bevans, spent five and a half years painting this and it is stunningly beautiful, well worth a visit.
The colours are amazing: Gary Bevans copied them from the newly-cleaned original.
The church also has lovely modern stained glass windows and a window showing several English Martyrs.

On Wednesday my mother died. My sister and I were there. We prayed again with our mother. Then she fell asleep peacefully in the arms of my sister. Our pastor arrived a short time later. He spoke again the blessing over our mother. The funeral will be next Friday. I ask for your prayers for our mother and us, in this time of parting.See More
