Organ Music
As background, I will tell you that I am a deputy organist at an early traditional service in a Yorkshire church.
Small congregation, very homely, and I am not all that good on the organ -- but we all try our best.
I wonder if there are any organists of similar (low) level who can give information about useful organ voluntaries -- not the great Bach works which are beyond me -- especially for those of us who have problems with the pedals.
I find the interludes of Eric Thiman very useful.

David, I'll pass on this question to Peter Delaney and/or Jim Rosenthal to ask the organist who plays at St Stephen Walbrook, Joe Sentance. I'm seeing Peter and Jim on Wednesday so will ask them to come back to you with an answer.

On Wednesday my mother died. My sister and I were there. We prayed again with our mother. Then she fell asleep peacefully in the arms of my sister. Our pastor arrived a short time later. He spoke again the blessing over our mother. The funeral will be next Friday. I ask for your prayers for our mother and us, in this time of parting.See More
