Lynda’s Space

Hi, I'd like to meet, greet and get to know more members of this church so first I'll introduce myself.
I'm Lynda Keen. I'm a member of the Art group at St Stephen Walbrook church, I also sometimes listen to lunchtime music there, I have attended a few services and will attend more because the congregation there is a very welcoming community.
Having worked outside Britain for many years, I now live in London, which I love though Larnaca in Cyprus would be my first choice of a place to live if I didn't have to earn a living.
I'm a Christian and a pacifist. My main interests are reading, writing, drama, art, music, organic gardening, travelling, ancient history and messing about on my computer.
Please step in to my lounge and watch one of my favourite video clips, from Jesus Christ Superstar. This encapsulates for me the contrast between the coarse, materialistic Herod and the dignified, spiritual Jesus.
And now you can also see a video of my Christian Art album. With thanks to Animoto for producing this super video for me for free.

Yes, I've watched Morning Prayer. It's a wonderful and positive way to start the day.

Thank you for your warm welcome Lynda.  I live in an isolated village where a combination of transport difficulties and personal health issues make it difficult to get out and be part of a larger community.  It was a great comfort to discover that although I was unable myself to get to church to light a candle, someone was willing to do so on my behalf. I really do appreciate it.

Dear friend, thank you for your kind words. It is regrettable. The nursing service manager would have let my mother die. A Polish nurse and we have saved mother's life. Mother must get out as quickly as possible there. There is a lot to organize. But we'll make it
On 6 February I am going to Preaching Seminary. Nevertheless, I am pleased.
I gladly would have gone in the anniversary year of the Queen in London. But right now I can not plan much.
I hope you survive the Olympics.

I ask for your prayers.
Give my regards to London. Best regards, Your very connected, Thomas

Words of The Day

Psalm 118    1    O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever. 2    Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 3    Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 4    Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 5    I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.…See More
