Hi, I'd like to meet, greet and get to know more members of this church so first I'll introduce myself.
I'm Lynda Keen. I'm a member of the Art group at St Stephen Walbrook church, I also sometimes listen to lunchtime music there, I have attended a few services and will attend more because the congregation there is a very welcoming community.
Having worked outside Britain for many years, I now live in London, which I love though Larnaca in Cyprus would be my first choice of a place to live if I didn't have to earn a living.
I'm a Christian and a pacifist. My main interests are reading, writing, drama, art, music, organic gardening, travelling, ancient history and messing about on my computer.
Please step in to my lounge and watch one of my favourite video clips, from Jesus Christ Superstar. This encapsulates for me the contrast between the coarse, materialistic Herod and the dignified, spiritual Jesus.

Lent Meditations

Lent is a time for meditating and I got to thinking about how insignificant a part of God's magnificent creation we humans are and yet at the same time how important to Him, so important that He sent Jesus to us.


I thought about how wonderful the environment is that He created for us, the same one that most of us abuse so much and only a few of us make any attempt to care for as He instructed Adam we should do.

Thank you Lynda! It's good to be on board. Just a general question. The church seems to be on a bit of break at the moment, is that right? Maybe I just missed some stuff I don't know. Anyway, it would be good to meet some of the guys at the next event or what have you.

Lately I have been thinking about the table of the Lord. Form in religion is something that I think should be a personal thing. Content however (the person of Jesus Christ) is foundational and the complete focus of the body of Christ. Just me.
