It's a site recommended to me by the now Fr. Jim Rosenthal, an old Chicago friend who has served as the Communications Officer for the Anglican Communion and was editor of a fine Anglican magazine. Fr JDvD and Mother Jackie were in London for…

Thanks so much for the pics of Fr. Jim's ordination. Those of us here who know and love him appreciated it very much.

I'm a life professed brother in the Brotherhood of St. Gregory, a canonically recognized, non-residential community of the Church. We have brothers in the U.S. from coast to coast, and brothers in the Philippines, New Zealand and Australia. I work as the Executive Assistant to the Dean of Seabury-Western Theological Seminary in Evanston IL USA.

My parish in Chicago is Church of the Atonement, an Anglo-Catholic parish where Fr. Jim Rosenthal worships when he's in Chicago.

Hello, Ron, and welcome to the London Internet Church.
I'm glad you've enjoyed the photos of Jim's ordination. It was a grand service. As Peter Delaney said, as impressive as the inauguration of a Pope! It certainly set the world on fire. Literally - apparently the bank staff next door phoned the Fire Brigade when they saw smoke (from the incense) coming out of the church door.
It's great to have more friends of Jim's as members here. I hope you enjoy looking around the site and we're eager to have more members' contributions to the discussions, to the groups, to the blogs, anywhere where you feel you can add something.
Jim is working hard beefing up our homepage. At the moment, he's producing a series of Christmas Specials so soon you'll see high-ranking figures such as the Archbishop of Canterbury in videos on there.
I edit our community forum so if you have any questions about anything, just ask me.
Looking forward to getting to know you.
God bless. Lynda

Words of The Day

Psalm 118    1    O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever. 2    Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 3    Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 4    Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 5    I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.…See More
