What? No church?
Today is Sunday. God's day.
It has occurred to me that I have no church to attend other than LIC.
I feel left out in the cold. Not a nice feeling at all.
I hope to put this right soon.
As Lynda so aptly puts it, I am shopping.
I still have to pinch myself to ensure that I am awake, that I am not
dreaming any of this.
I find it hard to contemplate that I am even pursuing this.
It is like having an "Out of body" experience. Looking down on myself and
hoping I am conducting myself in a dignified manner.
It has not even been a week since I joined this community but thanks to
Lynda and Thomas I feel at home and welcome.
I am being arrogant for I am smiling. Smiling for myself. Why?
I am just starting out on God's path. It is new. It is exciting.
I wonder what is around the next corner or over the next crest ........

On Wednesday my mother died. My sister and I were there. We prayed again with our mother. Then she fell asleep peacefully in the arms of my sister. Our pastor arrived a short time later. He spoke again the blessing over our mother. The funeral will be next Friday. I ask for your prayers for our mother and us, in this time of parting.See More
