But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. —1 Corinthians 2:9, KJV

Something is on the horizon for Planet Earth for which the church is completely unprepared. An unprepared church cannot possibly prepare an unprepared world. It is wise, excellent, and necessary to be totally given to God right now. That Someone who is coming is not a comet. He who is coming measures the universe with the span of His hand. Beloved, He is coming in fierceness to terrify the nations. (See Revelation 19.) No evolutionary philosophy, no technology of man, no training or education will stop His judgments. My friend, the world is completely unprepared for what lies ahead. The day of the Lord is a day of fire. (See 2 Peter 3:7.) And a Bridegroom who is a consuming fire will burn passionately with both love and judgment.

{ PRAYER STARTER }

Father, the day of Your appearing draws ever closer, and so much of the world is totally unprepared for Your return. Let my life be consumed with a passion for making the love of God known to my world.

God's mercy to the globe is a prepared church,
a prepared bride.

"Hello, yes this is a great idea. The idea, indeed the Spirit of Pentecost is difficult to explain. In Germany only a few people know the real meaning of this feast. I find this a very impressive sermon, certainly dangerous. Measured by human…"

Smeagologists

Once someone asked me “What is a Smeagologist?” My reply was simply, “Whatever you want it to be!” Seeing as I invented the name, I think I have a right to decide that it be a neutral term that is based roughly upon one’s emergence in a society that is progressively reductionist and bordering on Nihilism on one side and Contemplation on the other, I prefer the Contemplative side but attend most vigorously to the other seeing as our pale blue dot is gradually disappearing and who knows one day…See More

I ask for your prayers.

On Wednesday my mother died. My sister and I were there. We prayed again with our mother. Then she fell asleep peacefully in the arms of my sister. Our pastor arrived a short time later. He spoke again the blessing over our mother. The funeral will be next Friday. I ask for your prayers for our mother and us, in this time of parting.See More
