St Ethelreda's, Ely Place also has a pretty crib.

I couldn't take a photo as it's below the west window and when I visited, people were sitting there waiting to go to confession after a Mass service.

Apologies for the blurred quality of some of the photos in this video. Most of the churches were extremely dark and my little camera couldn't cope too well with that.

The churches in the video, in order of appearance, are:

St Margaret Pattens, Eastcheap (crib empty until Christmas Eve)

St Bartholomew the Less, West Smithfield (crib empty until Christmas Eve)

All Hallows Barking, Tower Hill

St Olave, Hart Street/Seething Lane

St Magnus, Lower Thames Street

St Margaret Lothbury (tree)

St Mary-le-Bow, Cheapside

St Mary Woolnoth, corner of King William/Lombard Streets

St Michael Paternoster, College Hill

St Paul’s Cathedral, Ludgate Hill/St Paul’s Churchyard

St Stephen Walbrook, Walbrook

Other City churches I know have cribs are:

St Sepulchre-without-Newgate, Giltspur Street

St Vedast, Foster Lane

A lot of the churches I wanted to visit were closed so if anyone knows of any more cribs in the City, please add them in here. Also, any photos of cribs anywhere else, of course.

"Hello, yes this is a great idea. The idea, indeed the Spirit of Pentecost is difficult to explain. In Germany only a few people know the real meaning of this feast. I find this a very impressive sermon, certainly dangerous. Measured by human…"

Smeagologists

Once someone asked me “What is a Smeagologist?” My reply was simply, “Whatever you want it to be!” Seeing as I invented the name, I think I have a right to decide that it be a neutral term that is based roughly upon one’s emergence in a society that is progressively reductionist and bordering on Nihilism on one side and Contemplation on the other, I prefer the Contemplative side but attend most vigorously to the other seeing as our pale blue dot is gradually disappearing and who knows one day…See More

I ask for your prayers.

On Wednesday my mother died. My sister and I were there. We prayed again with our mother. Then she fell asleep peacefully in the arms of my sister. Our pastor arrived a short time later. He spoke again the blessing over our mother. The funeral will be next Friday. I ask for your prayers for our mother and us, in this time of parting.See More
